Guided by a firm reliance on the authority of the Bible as the written word of God, together we hold these beliefs as members of Science Hill Community Church:
We believe that God exists and is revealed to us as
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is love, and God is holy.
(Hebrews 11:6; I John 4:7-12; I Peter 1:13-16)
We believe that the testimony of the Bible is true, inspired by God, and provides direction for our lives.
(II Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105)
We believe that everything was created by God – things both visible and invisible.
(John 1:1-5; Colossians 1:15-20)
We believe that we are made in God’s image but stand in need of redemption because of our sins.
(Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:9-20)
We believe that God’s solution to our sin was to give Jesus as a ransom. We receive this grace through faith in Christ.

We believe that the Church, as the Body of Christ, unites all those who belong to Jesus and
transcends divisions of race, status, and gender.
(I Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-29)
We believe that our goal in life is to walk more closely with Jesus and to become more like Him. We seek to develop the fruit of the Spirit and to exercise the gifts of the Spirit.
(Ephesians 4:14-16; Galatians 5:22-26)
We believe that God’s desire is for us to be with Him in heaven forever. Amen.
